baby bird by Kendall Blizzard

baby bird

a baby bird I am

new to this colorful world

eager to extend my wings and soar

mother bird nurtures me

and educates me the way of life

until I am prepared with my knowledge matured

to bound off of my nest

and be the greatest

a baby bird I was…

an eagle I am
